In the wake of reports of the National SC/ST Commission and National Commission of Minorities, both of which have pulled up the state government, LJP vice president Phool Singh Bariya said that ever since Mayawati government has come to power, Dalits and Muslims were feeling "insecure".
"It is unfortunate that the Uttar Pradesh government has become a puppet in the hands of Manuwadis. Despite claims of rule of law by the state government, culprits of heinous atrocities on Dalits and Muslims are not being brought to book," Bariya said in a statement.
He said LJP has held massive demonstrations at the district level twice this year and will now launch a 'Jail Bharo Andolan' in the entire state from August.
