Live webcast of Delhi Assembly proceedings from tomorrow

NEW DELHI: Delhiites will be able to watch the proceedings of Delhi Assembly online as live telecast from the house will be available on its website from tomorrow.

The Delhi Assembly is starting the service 'Live Webcast' on its website which will telecast the proceedings of the monsoon session, starting tomorrow.

"Now, anyone can watch the proceedings of the Assembly on computers, laptops or mobile phones through the Internet," Delhi Assembly Speaker Yoganand Tiwari said.

To access this facility, one has to visit the website of legislative assembly - delhiassembly.nic.in - and click the new link 'Live Webcast of Assembly Proceedings'.

Apart from the live webcast, date-wise recording of the proceedings of Assembly will remain stored on the website for sufficient time and one can watch it any time also.

According to the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Delhi will be the third state to have such a system in place after the assemblies of Bihar and Rajasthan.
