There was a let-up in rainfall across flood-ravaged Uttarakhand today with light to moderate showers occurring at isolated places.

DEHRADUN: There was a let-up in rainfall across flood-ravaged Uttarakhand today with light to moderate showers occurring at isolated places.


Rudraprayag recorded the maximum 9 mm rainfall followed by Tehri - 8 mm, Badkot - 5 mm and Munsyari - 2 mm, the MeT department said.

Rain and thundershowers are likely at a few places in the state in the next 24 hours, it said.

Ganga at Haridwar is flowing at 292 metres, two metres below the danger mark at 294 metres, the state Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre said, adding, there was no untoward incident reported from anywhere in the state.
