Left stalwarts to meet Chinese leaders tomorrow

Top leaders of Left parties will meet their counterparts of Communist Party of China tomorrow to discuss relationship between both the countries as well as party-to-party relations.

NEW DELHI: Top leaders of Left parties will meet their counterparts of Communist Party of China (CPC) here tomorrow to discuss relationship between both the countries as well as party-to-party relations.

A group of CPC leaders are in the capital to attend a conference "China and India: 60 Years and Beyond" organised by the Congress party here.

CPI(M)'s Prakash Karat and Sitaram Yechury, CPI's A B Bardhan and D Raja and Forward Bloc's Debabrata Biswas and G Devarajan will meet the Chinese leaders including Polit Bureau member Zhou Yongkang.

The leaders are expected to discuss party-to-party relations and India-China relations, a senior Left leader said.
