Lawyers abstain from work in protest of Mumbai terror attacks

Lawyers of Oudh Bar Association of Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court abstained from all judicial work in protest against the Mumbai terror attacks.

LUCKNOW: The lawyers of Oudh Bar Association (OBA) of the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Thursday abstained from all judicial work in protest against the Mumbai terror attacks.

An emergency meeting of the OBA held today morning strongly condemned the attacks and resolved for strict action against the culprits, Secretary OBA R P Mishra said.

The lawyers would also be abstaining from all judicial work on Friday, Misra added.

Terrorists struck the financial capital of the country, Mumbai, killing over 100 people and injuring 300.
