RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has reiterated that the Centre should bring a law for Ram Mandir as soon as possible. He was addressing ‘Hunkar Rally’, organised by the VHP in Nagpur. Bhagwat on Sunday said: “It is clear that the matter is not on court’s priority list because, perhaps, they lack understanding of our sensibilities. If the work has to be done, it has to be done fast.”

Bhagwat also said it wasn’t right to associate Babur with Muslims as the Mughal king belonged to no one. “Even Guru Nanak has chronicled his atrocities against Hindus and Muslims. Ram, on the other hand, belongs to the whole country. Even Iqbal referred to Lord Ram as Imam-e-Hind.”
