RAIPUR: A 15-kg `tiffin bomb' planted by Naxals was found in Chhattisgarh's Kondagaon district today, police said.

The tiffin-like container packed with explosives had been planted under a forest road connecting Isalnar and Hangwa villages, Kondagaon additional superintendent of police (ASP) Surjit Atri told PTI.

Police had received a tip-off about the landmine, he said, adding that the bomb disposal squad recovered the landmine ahead of Isalnar village, around 250 km away from the state capital.

A detonator and wire were also found from the spot.The landmine would have targeted the security personnel moving in the area, the ASP said.
