Land acquisition ordinance will only benefit industry and not farmers: Tarun Gogoi

GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister, Tarun Gogoi said that amended Land Acquisition Act ordinance is against the interest of farmers and will benefit only the industry.

Gogoi said, “Let me declare that we will not implement ordinance on Land Acquisition Act in the state. State will have its own land law and we will table the same in the state assembly.”
