When asked about this possibility upon her arrival in Patna on Saturday, the Singapore-based Rohini initially denied any inclination towards active politics, but when the question was reiterated, he intriguingly responded: "Dekha jayega bhavishya me kya hota hai. Mujhko kya maloom (Just wait and see what happens in the future. I'm not aware of this)."
The speculation gained traction after Rohini, known for donating a kidney to Lalu, visited her in-laws' village in Aurangabad, where she paid homage to her father-in-law. During her stay, she was captured walking through agricultural fields with her minister brother Tej Pratap Yadav, distributing blankets among the poor and addressing their grievances.
Addressing the question of her potential political involvement at her "sasural", Rohini said she could contest polls if the people desired it, "although haven't done anything noteworthy for the people of the region so far".
