After the assembly election verdict, Lalu went on to declare that he would not speak anything against the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government for the first six months.
"I had said I will keep my mouth shut for the first six months. That deadline has elapsed. And by now, we have also known how badly the government has performed. We have to fight from here on to target the government for its failures,'' Prasad told his party men.
"We will hit the streets on the total revolution day to highlight the problems of the common man. The RJD will stage demonstrations across all districts. District-level committees have already been set up for the purpose,'' said state RJD chief Ramchander Purve.
RJD also flayed BJP for its oppposition to the draft Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and Regulations) Bill, 2011."The chief minister should make public his stand on the matter keeping in view his 'self-confessed' secular credentials," RJD spokesman Shakeel Ahmed Khan said.
