PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his son, Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav, expressed displeasure over the scramble of some MLAs for government residences. Both leaders asked the legislators to "behave decently" to safeguard the honour of the Grand Alliance comprising JD(U), RJD and Congress.

The admonishment followed reports that some MLAs had affixed their nameplates on residential gates, that were yet to be vacated, after pulling out existing nameplates.

In his inimitable style, Lalu Prasad reminded MLAs that he had lived for four months in a peon’s quarters even after becoming CM. Prasad also asked party members not to clash with government officials, while Tejashwi’s speech focused on the efforts to develop RJD’s image as a disciplined organisation.
