Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mulayam Singh all set to establish family ties

Lalu and his wife Rabri Devi, both former chief ministers of Bihar are coming to Lucknow tomorrow to perform a pre-engagement ceremony.

LUCKNOW: While the erstwhile Janta Parivaar is taking baby steps towards reuniting under a common banner, the two main leaders of the fledging group, Mulayam Singh Yadav and Lalu Prasad formally entered into a personal relation by announcing the marriage alliance between their families.

On Sunday, Lalu Prasad arrived with several of his family members to fix his youngest daughter Raj Lakshmi’s marriage with Mulayam’s grand nephew and Mainpuri MP Tej Pratap Yadav. The two families held a “Varraksha” ceremony in Lucknow, which formaly announces the marriage between two families. Lalu was accompanied by his son Tejasvi Yadav, five sons-in-law and other relatives.
