Lalu Prasad slams Arvind Kejriwal's remark against politicians

NEW DELHI: RJD chief Lalu Prasad today reacted strongly to comments made by social activist Arvind Kejriwal against politicians, saying he has become "senile" and is making these comments out of frustration.

"He (Kejriwal) has become senile, he has become a mental case and is frustrated," Prasad told reporters when asked about Kejriwal's comments against politicians.

Kejriwal struck a defiant note today while replying to privilege notices served on him for "insulting" Parliament. He sought to know how he could be expected to respect the House which has 162 MPs with a criminal background.

Denying allegations by four MPs who moved privilege notices against him that he insulted the House, Kejriwal said he respects Parliament but noted that it is being insulted by those sitting inside Parliament and not those outside.

He alleged all parties were responsible for bringing Parliament to disrepute as 162 MPs with criminal cases against them -- 14 facing murder cases, 20 attempt to murder cases and 13 for kidnapping -- have managed to get into it.
