Government has furnished the list of former ministers, ex-MPS and some officials illegally occupying bungalows to the Supreme Court, Minister of State for Urban Development Babul Supriyo said in a written reply.
Besides, Prasad (25 Tughlak Road), Singh (11-A Teen Murti Marg) and Bandopadhaya (1-B Maulana Azad Road), allotment of government bungalow to former minister Saugata Roy (58 Lodhi Estate) was cancelled and eviction proceedings have been initiated, as per the reply in the House.
Former Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar is also facing litigation for not vacating his Type V bungalow at D-1/119 in Chanakyapuri after retirement.
Kumar, who retired on July 31, 2013, was allowed to retain the bungalow till September 30 this year on payment of six times of normal licence fee with the approval of Cabinet Committee on Accommodation.
As far as P V Prabhakar Rao,son of former Prime Minister Narasimha Rao is concerned, government has allowed him to retain the 6-A Telegraph Lane bungalow till January 3, 2015.
Government has also allowed Saroj Kumari, widow of former union minister late Arjun Singh to retain the 1 Canning Lane bungalow till October 2, 2016.
