Lalu for photographing cycle buyers

NEW DELHI: In view of increased use of cycles by terrorists to carry out bomb attacks, Railways Minister Lalu Prasad today suggested that shop owners photograph those buying cycles.

"All those who are buying cycles should be photographed by the shopowners so that we can keep a track of the purchasers," he said.

Recent terrorist attacks in Jaipur and Ahmedabad have clearly established the use of cycles as a means to execute terror plots.

"At least we would have a record of those buying cycles," he said. Prasad said taking photos would create a sense of fear among those plotting to carry out attacks using cycles.
