Lalu attacks Centre, Nitish
RJD chief Lalu Prasad, who has ruled out any post-poll tie up with Cong in the event of a hung assembly in Bihar, today slammed the party as well as Nitish Kumar govt in Bihar for spiralling prices.

''Ever since Congress has come to power at the Centre and Nitish Kumar in Bihar the people are weighed down by high prices,'' he told an election rally here.
Rabri Devi, Leader of the Opposition and his wife is contesting from Raghopur in Vaishali district, a constituency she represents in the outgoing assembly, where she is locked in a virtual neck-and-neck fight with ruling JD(U)'s Satish Kumar.
''I had not allowed the price of potato to go up during the 15 years of RJD rule ... It (the price) remained pegged at Rs 2 per kg,'' he claimed adding people were now forced to buy it at more than Rs 25.
''This is the difference between me and Nitish ... I work for the poor and he represents feudal and communal forces,'' Prasad said and appealed to the people to vote for RJD-LJP combine for ''changing the face of Bihar''.
Rabri Devi, who is also contesting from Sonepur, appealing for votes said ''Give me another chance to serve the constituency I will definitely come up to your expectations.''
Earlier, their son Tejaswi, LJP chief Ramvilas Paswan too had canvassed for Rabri Devi.
