Lack of coordination dislocating implementation of schemes in Puducherry: AIADMK
Applicants seeking monthly aid under pension schemes, housing subsidy schemes and educational loans were gathering dust as government did not have funds.

AIADMK legislature wing A Anbalagan told reporters here that the CM and his cabinet colleagues had been visiting Delhi and holding talks with Union Ministers, seeking allocation of funds by the Centre for Puducherry.
The Lt Governor had also been visiting the capital subsequent to Narayanasamy's visit and persuading the Centre with several schemes to earmark funds.
Anbalagan sought to know why both could not jointly approach the Centre and procure funds.
The Assembly was yet to have a full fledged meeting and the full budget for fiscal 2016-2017 was also yet to be presented as funds earmarked in the previous AINRC rule for the first six months from April were only an interim arrangement, he said.
Applicants seeking monthly aid under pension schemes, housing subsidy schemes and educational loans were gathering dust as government did not have funds and the 'virtual race' between the Lt Governor and CM on who would be able to procure funds from the Centre was landing the poor and have-nots in disarray, he said.
