Kudankulam protests: Subramanian Swamy wants army to assist Tamil Nadu govt

Subramanian Swamy demanded that Army be put on stand-by to assist the Tamil Nadu govt in quelling the protesters at the Kudankulam Nuclear power plant.

NEW DELHI: Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy today demanded that the Indian Army be put on stand-by to assist the Tamil Nadu government in quelling the protesters at the Kudankulam Nuclear power plant.

He said such a step was necessary as the protesters have shown their "true face" now.

Swamy also claimed that he had information that LTTE sympathisers and Naxalites have penetrated into this agitation.
