The Prime Minister announced Rs 50,000 each for the injured in the tragedy that occurred early this morning in Puttingal Devi Temple near Kollam town.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced Rs two lakh as compensation for the next of the kin of the dead in Kollam temple fire in which over 100 people have been killed and many injured.

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy also announced ex-gratia relief of Rs.10 lakh to the kin of each of those killed.

The Prime Minister announced Rs 50,000 each for the injured in the tragedy that occurred early this morning in Puttingal Devi Temple near Kollam town. Chandy announced Rs two lakh for each of those serioiusly injured.
