CBI questioned Rajeev Kumar for nearly eight hours on Saturday

CBI formed a special team, which included 10 officials from several bureaus of the central agency, to examine Kumar in phases and probe into the allegations.
After an eight-hour marathon “examining” session by the CBI, Rajeev Kumar, commissioner of Kolkata Police has been asked to appear before the investigators on Sunday yet again. Following an order by the Supreme Court directing him to “appear and make himself available” before the CBI, Kumar arrived in Shillong on Friday.

CBI formed a special team, which included 10 officials from several bureaus of the central agency, to examine Kumar in phases and probe into the allegations.

Sources said that the entire proceeding was video-graphed as it was requested by Kumar.


He reached the CBI office at around 10.45 and the process started at around 11.15 after a small discussion between the Kolkata police and CBI officials about the process. At around 7 pm in the evening, Kumar came out of the CBI office.
