Protestors have refused to bury the body two persons killed in the Tuesday's violence till the chief minister, Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang and his other minister resigns.

GUWAHATI: Miffed protestors set ablaze Kohima Press Club. Arson has stared in Kohima after protestors demanding resignation of chief minister, TR Zeliang and his other minister resigns turned violent.

The protestors had set ablaze the Kohima Municipal council office and later the press club. Some vehicles were torched. Fire has spread to residential area.

Protestors have refused to bury the body two persons killed in the Tuesday's violence till the chief minister, Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang and his other minister resigns.

Tribal bodies are opposing the state government decision of granting 33 per cent reservation for women in the ULB. Tribal organizations felt that 33 per cent women reservation would infringe into the special rights guaranteed by Article 371(A) of the Constitution.
