Koda asked to continue as care-taker CM

RANCHI: Madhu Koda, who resigned from the Jharkhand chief minister's post on Saturday, was asked by the governor to continue as the care taker chief minister till alternative arrangements were made.

Governor Syed Sibtey Razi also canceled the one-day sitting of the Jharkhand Assembly on August 25, Principal Secretary to the governor, Sudhir Tripathy told PTI here.

The one-day session had been convened after Koda said he was prepared for a trust vote following withdrawal of support by the JMM.
