Kirit Somaiya is targeting Gopinath Munde, says NCP

MUMBAI: The NCP today said that BJP leader and former MP KiritSomaiya, who has levelled corruption allegations against state PWD Minister ChhaganBhujbal's personal assistant ShaileshChangale, was actually training guns on senior BJP leader GopinathMunde.

"Somaiya is conducting a media trial. If he has substantial evidence, then he should move the court," NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik said here.

Further, by making allegations against Bhujbal's personal assistant, Somaiya was in fact targeting Munde, because Changale had earlier worked for Munde, Malik alleged.

"Changale was my personal assistant too when I was the minister," Malik further said.

Meanwhile, Changale has denied that he was ever Munde's personal assistant, clarifying that he had been the PA to former state BJP chief and MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar.
