Kiren Rijiju asks Arunachal Pradesh to submit report on flood damage
Union Minister of State Kiren Rijiju has asks Arunachal Pradesh officials to submit report of loss of property and crops in current flood.

The report would enable to form an inter-ministerial team to visit the state to see the ground reality, Rijiju told officials at Daporijo in Upper Subansiri district after conducting an aerial survey of flood-hit areas yesterday, an official communique said here.
He laid stress on both short and long term disaster management systems to combat flood and related situations in the state.
The union minister appealed to the Army, ITBP and SIB to assist the administration in minimising the sufferings of flood affected people and restoration of road communication, particularly in interior and border areas.
In the meeting Upper Subansiri DC K Dolum, through a power point presentation, highlighted the damages caused by the flood.
The loss assessment of buildings, suspension bridges and properties amounted to Rs 3.95 crore, he said, and requestedfor an initial fund of Rs 50 lakh for immediate restoration of strategic communication system, the communique said.
