Kiran Bedi: Voting for AAP is like voting for the Congress
Bedi, who was visiting Haridwar was asked about the reason for supporting BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Bedi, who was visiting Haridwar was asked about the reason for supporting BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. "Asked in Haridwar why vote for BJP & Modi? I said because there's need for sustained development with order not chaos of unethical coalition," she tweeted.
".. asked if I was joining BJP to be asking for voting for Modi, I said I don't have to be member of a political party to voice a concern!," she said on the site.
Last week, Bedi criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for organizing a 'janta darbar' which ended in a chaos. Bedi took a jibe at him over lack of "mature" governance and said such meetings do not happen on the streets or the rooftops.
All good governance organises public hearing. Many senior police officers and bureaucrats have public hearings. There is a schedule and method and certainly openness about it. It is not on the streets or on the rooftops.
"It is organised in their offices. So, public hearings are part of good governance but there is a method to it, there is a purpose and there is a place for it. Therefore, I think that is all about mature governance, it is also about experienced governance, that is what I think is lacking," she said.
Bedi had also slammed AAP for offering Congress what she said was a backdoor route to power. Bedi had said that Modi can provide a stable, accountable and inclusive government.
About her backing Modi, she said, "Between the two national parties, whom do we choose? Unless we are looking for a hung parliament, you need one of the two main parties for stability and the Congress has to be voted out... As a voter... I want to see development, prosperity and growth.... There has to be stability with administrative experience and Modi has that."
