Khushbu Sundar quits DMK, says work not recognized
The actor, who had several Tamil hits to her credit, thanked Karunanidhi in her tweets and ruled out joining any other party.

"I have decided to quit with a heavy heart," Khushbu stated in her letter.
The actor, however, complimented the DMK chief, Karunanidhi, for treating her as his family.

"I am not jumping into any other party ... so stop assumptions and hold back your horses, friends ... need some time alone with family," she tweeted.
In another tweet, Khushbu thanked supporters for standing behind her.
"Request my friends from press to leave me alone for sometime," her tweet said.
Khushbu had joined DMK in May 2010 and campaigned extensively for the party in the 2011 assembly poll and 2014 LS elections as well.
