The road show has been named "Janapaksha Yatra" as it will highlight various issues faced by the society apart from political galvanisation of the organisation.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will flag off the campaign tomorrow and it will conclude in Thiruvananthapuram on December 9, after criss-crossing all districts of the state.
The yatra would highlight achievements of Congress-led UDF government including various steps taken to rid the state of the liquor and drug menace, Sudheeran told reporters here today.
"The KPCC is organising the yatra to bring the attention of people to various social and political issues and to awaken the public to meet these challenges," he said.
The need to avoid violence in politics, especially in view of clashes involving BJP and CPI(M), will be a major theme of the campaign, he said.
"The politics of which seeks to eliminate rivals should be brought to an end in the state. There is also an urgent need to strengthen democratic and secular values," he said.
Social issues like atrocities against women and children and problems relating to solid waste management would also be given focus during the yatra, Sudheeran said.
Senior Congress leader Mukul Wasnik and state home minister Ramesh Chennithala would also be present during the inauguration of the campaign, he said.
