Kerala: Party workers want KC Joseph out of poll race
KOCHI: As he is preparing for another assembly election, Kerala cultural affairs minister KC Joseph is facing opposition to his candidature from an unexpected source --his own party men.

According to Joseph, the candidates have not been finalised. He said those who are opposing the candidature at this stage are not Congress workers. He added that this can be verified through enquiries. The minister said he is not taking the “opposition“ to his candidature seriously. Joseph has been representing the constituency for the past seven terms.

Meanwhile, another section of the Youth Congress workers have reportedly organised a procession in favour of Joseph in Irikkur.
