Kerala High Court upholds election of K V Thomas
The Court, after examining the evidence said Thomas became a validly nominated candidate on March 24, 2014 and dismissed the petition with costs.

Justice Kamal Pasha dismissed the petition filed by a voter of the constituency challenging the election, who contended that Thomas had indulged in corrupt poll practices under the provisions of Representation of People's Act.
The Court observed that the petitioner had not been able to prove the charges, which were vague in nature.
The petitioner alleged that Thomas had forwarded an appeal on March 17 2014 on his official letterhead to voters to elect him while he was a sitting MP of the constituency.
The Court, after examining the evidence and records, said Thomas became a validly nominated candidate on March 24, 2014 and dismissed the petition with costs.
