Heavy rains lash parts of country, flood situation grim in Maharashtra, Kerala
Hundreds of thousands of people have been uprooted from their homes in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Kerala as unrelenting rains continued to wreak havoc there on Thursday. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SRDF) are carrying out search and rescue operations all across the flood-affected regions in the state.
