Kate Middleton 'won't wait forover' for Prince William

LONDON: Keen on tying the knot with Prince William, his girlfriend Kate Middleton is said to have clearly told him that she "won't wait forever".

The couple are currently on a holiday in the Caribbean where Middleton, who is actually angling for a summer marriage next year, has been pushing the second-in-line to the British throne for a specific wedding date, according to a source.

"William has promised Kate she won't have to wait forever. But each time she tries to nail him down on a date, something comes up and the moment slips away.

"Kate prepared herself to do things to William's timescale but she's only human and she isn't going to be happy waiting in the wings forever. He has to show some commitment or she may just not be there when he decides to do something," the 'Daily Star' quoted the unnamed source as saying.

The couple has already broken up once because Kate thought the romance had flatlined. However, the 26-year-old Prince had managed to convince her and assured her a more publicly recognised role.

Since then she has represented the Prince at two royal weddings while he's been on military duties and has received greater recognition within the Royal Family.

"It isn't about being a public figure -- the thought of that horrifies Kate. She just wants the world to know William loves her and that their future is together," the source close the couple said.
The couple will spend this week on the privately owned Caribbean island after leading separate lives for five weeks.
