Kashmir, Siachen and Sir Creek on negotiating table: Pakistan’s Pervez Rashid
KARACHI/ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s information minister Pervez Rashid has said that all outstanding issues, including Kashmir, Siachen, Sir Creek water, violations on the working boundary and other reservations, will be taken up at the upcoming National Security Advisor-level meeting between India and his country.

While speaking to the press in Lahore, Rashid dispelled the notion that the Kashmir issue was overlooked during the recent meeting between the prime ministers of the two nations in Ufa, Russia, reported The Express Tribune.

He also added that the agreement to take up all outstanding issues at the upcoming meeting was an acceptance of Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir issue and signalled the victory of his government.

Rashid also noted that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had raised the Kashmir issue at all international forums, including the UN General Assembly. However, he cautioned that only a 'peaceful, secure and prosperous' Pakistan could support the cause of Kashmir in a befitting manner.
