NEW DELHI: With Ajmal Kasab pleading guilty to his role in the Mumbai terror attacks, Congress on Monday said this was a result of the diplomatic offensive as India had taken up the issue at the international fora.

"India had raised the issue at the international fora ...The dossier had said it all," he said.

Singhvi said Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari had accepted that the neighbouring country was used for terror activities.

"This was not a small achievement," he said. On a query about BJP's statement that Kasab's confession was admissible in court as he was booked under MCOCA even as the government was refusing to give assent to GUJCOCA, he said the people have understood and rejected it.

"This is trivialisation...I don't want to get into it," he said, comparing the BJP to an old tape recorder whose tape has got jammed, leading to the same voice again and again.
