Karunanidhi discharged from hospital

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi was on Sunday discharged from a city hospital where he underwent treatment for neck and back pain for the past three days.

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi was on Sunday discharged from a city hospital where he underwent treatment for neck and back pain for the past three days.

Doctors who attended on him said Karunanidhi 'is better now but he needed complete rest for another one week'.

Karunanidhi (84) was admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Medical College Hospital on May 16 after he complained of severe neck and back pain.

Union Ministers T R Baalu and A Raja and a host of other state ministers and politicial party leaders had earlier called on Karunanidhi today.
