Karnataka’s KR Nandini tops UPSC exams, CM Siddaramaiah showers praise
That a Kannadiga candidate has topped the UPSC exams after a gap of 17 years has doubled my happiness, said CM Siddaramaiah.

She is serving the Government of India, having cleared the 2014 civil services exams. Having been allotted to the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), she is currently undergoing training. She is a graduate from the MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
“That a Kannadiga candidate has topped the UPSC exams after a gap of 17 years has doubled my happiness,” Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, commending Nandini on her achievement. Her success, he said, should inspire young men and women in Karnataka to take up competitive exams.
