The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA), which met on Thursday, did not discuss the Governor's report on the political situation in Karnataka.

NEW DELHI: The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA), which met on Thursday, did not discuss the Governor's report on the political situation in Karnataka.

Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters after the meeting that the CCPA discussed routine matters and the Karnataka issue did not come up for discussion.

The issue may now come up before the Cabinet on Friday.
