Karnataka IPS officer accused of having an affair with a married woman

Senior Karnataka IPS officer Bheemashankar S Guled has been allegedly accused of forcing a married woman to have an affair with him. The allegations have been drawn by the husband of the woman who also claims his wife is missing.

A complaint has been lodged with the Koramangala police station against Guled on July 5.

The 40-year-old techie has even released an intimate video of Guled and his wife.


The Complainant hails from Davangere where Guled was posted as Superintendent of Police between 2016-2018. According to reports, Bheemashankar Guled allegedly met the couple in October 2016, when he visited a photography studio owned by the wife of the complainant.

"I had set up a photography studio for my wife in Davanagre and Guled was our first customer as he approached my wife to shoot his twin daughters' birthday. Later, he began forcing her, seeking sexual favours. She obliged out of fear and he took advantage of her several times in Davanagere," the accusser was quoted by TOI.

The woman, with whom Guled is seen in the video, has told a news channel that her husband manufactured fake videos of her and Guled, she claims to have disputes with her husband.

SP Guled has been quoted by TOI saying, "I have done nothing and I deny the allegation."

The issue has caught the eye of senior politicians and they have assured proper investigation into the matter.

The video that has been submitted shows Guled in his uniform in a compromising position.
