The Karnataka HC on Tuesday stayed the Enforcement Directorate's move to summon advocate Anil Gowda, a consultant to Congress MLA from Chitradurga KC Veerendra (Puppy) in a money laundering case over alleged illegal online and offline betting and gambling.

Justice Sachin S Magadum stayed the summons until the Supreme Court decides on a pending question on the scope of the ED's powers in summoning lawyers.
