Karnataka election results 2013: JD(S) doing better than BJP, set to become second largest party
BANGALORE: Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda's party JD(S) is heading towards a spectacular show in Karnataka assembly election.

The latest trends show JD(S) doing better than the ruling BJP and may well emerge as the second largest party in the state.

With trends for nearly 200 seats available, pollsters predict JD(S) winning between 45 to 55 seats in the Karnataka assembly.

The Congress leaders have already hinted that they won't be averse to joining hands with the JD(S), if they fall short of half way mark.

The JD(S) and the Congress had formed a coalition in 2004.

Later the party join hands with the BJP too. But even that coalition collapsed.
