Karnataka Congress reminds PM Modi of Yedurrappa days, terms NDA as Not Doing Anything govt

Days after PM Modi slammed the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in Karnataka, the ruling party in the state has reminded the PM of the former Yeddyurappa government in the state.

"Mr. @narendramodi, you speak about providing Urea to Farmers. Did you know that your corrupt CM candidate Yeddyurappa had shot farmers when they were protesting for lack of Fertilizer?," it said in a Twitter post.

Congress has also tried to cormer BJP and Modi over the jobs issue and termed NDA as Not Doing Anything government.


"Mr. Modi, isn't your TOP priority to create Jobs? But your government is NDA - Not Doing Anything!," the Karnataka Congress taunted.

Meanwhile Siddaramaiah has also joined the Twitter war against the PM.

"I am glad PM @narendramodi is talking about corruption. I now invite him to #WalktheTalk . For a start can you 1. Appoint Lok Pal 2. Investigate #JudgeLoya ‘s death 3. Investigate the astronomical rise of #Jayshah 4. Appoint an untainted person as your CM candidate?" he Twitted.

Earlier, the state Congress upped the ante against the prime minister accusing him of lying.
