Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah first to announce Rs 5 crore corpus for flood-hit Tamil Nadu

BENGALURU: Karnataka's chief minister Siddaramaiah was the first to announce a flood-relief corpus of Rs 5 crore for the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu which is reeling under unprecedented rain.

Siddaramaiah directed his chief secretary Kaushik Mukherjee to immediately hold talks with officials from Tamil Nadu and get a list of the requirements. All medical and essential supplies requirements are to be met immediately, he has said.
