Karnataka CM opens operation theatre block at Kidwai built by Infy Foundation

BENGALURU: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Thursday opened the new operation theater block with five major modern operation theatres at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in Bengaluru.

The facility was built by Infosys Foundation as part of a Rs 11 crore project. The Foundation has also provided OT equipment to the Institute.

The CSR arm of Infosys has been involved with the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology since 2001 and has worked on a number of projects.


In addition to constructing dharamshalas in Kalaburagi and Hubli, the Foundation has also constructed an operation theatre complex for the Institute in Bengaluru, according to a press release.
