Karnataka cabinet: Priyank Kharge gets IT/BT too in a Cabinet tweak

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday assigned additional portfolios to his cabinet colleagues MB Patil and Priyank Kharge. Rural development and panchayat Raj minister Priyank Kharge will also handle IT & BT department while Infrastructure development now comes under the purview of MB Patil, in addition to the Industries department he holds.

Kharge had successfully handled the IT/BT portfolio during the earlier Congress regime under Siddaramaiah.

The CM now holds Finance, Cabinet Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Intelligence, Information and all unallocated portfolios.
