Kapil Sibal Show at CVC Seminar

Law Minister Kapil Sibal shared his experience as the HRD minister with the participants at a CVC seminar on Tuesday , saying he was left shocked when V-Cs of universities fell at his feet seeking extended terms in office.

“I told these academicians why they should be doing this when the government should be reaching out to them. The problem in India is the patriarchal system,” Sibal said. He snubbed ex-CVC N Vittal, cutting him short just when Vittal was about to quiz the controversial appointment of PJ Thomas as CVC in 2010.
