Kalraj Mishra to start Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana in Deoria

LUCKNOW: Union Minister Kalraj Mishra will launch ' Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana' in his parliamentary constituency Deoria tomorrow.

"A target of adding 15 thousand persons under the scheme has been fixed. I will launch the scheme in Deoria tomorrow," Mishra told reporters here.

The Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises said that a day before Raksha Bandhan he would launch the scheme and would pay the premium of poor families from his own resources.

Under the scheme an accident cover of Rs 2 lakh is offered on accidental death and disability. People have to pay a premium of Rs 12/- per annum to avail the scheme.

Minister also appealed to MLAs of his constituency to add maximum number of poor people under the scheme and help in making the scheme a success.
