Kalraj Mishra distributes PM insurance scheme in Deoria

DEORIA: Union Minister Kalraj Mishra today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done "historical" work by launching ' Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana' and other insurance schemes for weaker sections of the society, keeping in view their security and prosperity.

The Minister for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises said this while distributing certificates of PMSBY insurance scheme to 496 people of his parliamentary constituency.

Yesterday, he had announced to deposit the premium from his own resources.

Mishra said that due to the scheme, the people would feel self-reliant economically in days to come and they would not be required to extend their hand before others.

He also distributed insurance policy with a premium of Rs 201 per annum to 25 women on the eve of Raksha Bandhan as a rakhi gift.
