Kalraj Mishra attacks Nitish Kumar over Narendra Modi remarks
Kalraj Mishra has hit out at Nitish Kumar for his continued opposition over BJP's Narendra Modi's name being discussed as a possible PM candidate of the NDA.
LUCKNOW: Senior BJP leader Kalraj Mishra has hit out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his continued opposition over BJP's Narendra Modi's name being discussed as a possible Prime Ministerial candidate of the NDA.
Former minister Kalraj Mishra said that Nitish Kumar is encroaching upon BJP's internal matters by constantly making remarks against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that though Kumar was a senior and respected leader he should refrain from talking about Narendra Modi all the time. "This is BJP's internal matter and it does not look good if Nitish Kumar keeps talking about it" Kalraj Mishra said on the sidelines of the BJP's two day Chintan Biathak in Agra.
Mishra said that Kumar is a seasoned politician and knows that such issues like Prime Ministerial candidate are discussed at an appropriate forum within the party. "But it seems Nitish Kumar is afraid of Narendra Modi as he keeps making statements about Modi" Mishra said.
This the first time a senior BJP leader has taken on Nitish Kumar over his comments on Modi.
