Kalam to address BLC's centenary celebrations on May 3

Kalam would undertake a day's visit to the state capital to deliver the first of series of lectures of the state legislative council.

PATNA: Former president A P J Abdul Kalam would deliver the first of series of lectures being organised as part of the Bihar Legislative council's centenary year celebrations here on May 3.

Kalam would undertake a day's visit to the state capital to deliver the first of series of lectures of the state legislative council, which got underway on March 22, official sources said.

Council's chairman T K Jha reviewed the modalities being finalised for Kalam's visit at the meeting of the centenary celebration committee here, sources said.

Besides Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, members of both houses of the state legislature, ex-MLCs and prominent doctors, lawyers, professors and traders would also also be invited for the lecture, they said.
