Kailash Satyarthi for regulation of placement agencies
Satyarthi told Kejriwal that due to active efforts child labour rate has come down in the carpet industry without making any negative impact on the industry.

"Huge numbers of children are being trafficked and are used by these placement agencies. An order was issued by the court to make a law to regulate this in 2012. We need to work on it and do away with child labour," Satyarthi told Kejriwal.
The 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner raised the issue of bonded and child labourers and its ill effect on the society and education of children.
He told Kejriwal that due to active efforts child labour rate has come down in the carpet industry without making any negative impact on the industry.
Kejriwal assured that his government will do its best to address the issue and will take measures to regulate placement agencies.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Chief Secretary K K Sharma were also present during the meeting.
