JVM to constitute SIT to probe scams if elected to power

JVM MP threatened to launch agitation against TSRDS from Jan 8 for failing to implement the agreement regarding installation of solar lights in villages.

JAMSHEDPUR: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM) today said it would form Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the scams that had taken place during the last 10 years in Jharkhand if elected to power.

Addressing a press conference here, JVM MP Ajay Kumar said party chief Babulal Marandi had announced that the party would constitute SIT to probe all scam and corruptions during last ten years, if the party was voted to power in the next election.

Accusing Arjun Munda-headed coalition government in the state for deliberately stalling the development work undertaken in his parliamentary constituency, Kumar, Lok Sabha MP from Jamshedpur alleged that chief minister has been mounting pressure on the district administration to stall development work such as installation of solar lights in 1700 villages in East Singhbhum district.

The JVM MP threatened to launch agitation against Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) from January 8 for failing to implement the agreement regarding installation of solar lights in villages.
